A general layering chart cannot account for every formula or prescribed treatment. Check whether each product is intended for the face or eye area, how much to apply and when to use it. Follow any instructions from your treating professional ahead of a generic routine.
Build around a clear purpose
Before adding a serum, ask what it contributes that your existing products do not. You do not need a separate product for every ingredient name. The aim is a routine you understand and can use consistently.
If products pill under makeup, simplify the combination and check the application quantities. Change one thing at a time so you can identify which combination works for you.
A face cream for daily moisture, a targeted eye cream, or both together. Compare the sizes, ingredients and prices before you choose.
The face cream and eye cream are different
Truff’elle’s Black Truffle Peptide Cream is the face moisturiser. The Eye Cream is formulated separately and contains retinol. Read the directions for both instead of assuming they have identical ingredients or application instructions.
The Duo contains both products. It is a purchasing option, not a requirement to use every step together from day one.
Keep sun protection in the routine
