A beauty certification is useful when you can check who issued it and exactly what it covers. Treat the badge as the start of that check.
Find the issuing organisation
Follow the brand’s source link or search the certifier’s own directory. Look for the exact brand or product name, current status and scope. Certification of one ingredient should not be assumed to cover a whole formula.
Separate the questions
Animal testing, animal-derived ingredients, organic production and packaging are different topics. A badge covering one does not automatically answer the others. Ask the brand for a specific answer if a particular issue matters to you.
A face cream for daily moisture, a targeted eye cream, or both together. Compare the sizes, ingredients and prices before you choose.
An award is different
